Wrapping Up
Introduction
This week, I wrapped up my last workshop—projection. It’s been a really fun journey so far, and I think what made it extra exciting for me is that all these workshops gave me the chance to create things I never got to explore back in my polytechnic days.
It felt like a meaningful throwback to my love for technology and design, and being able to reconnect with that through these hands-on experiences has been really fulfilling.
Process
I spent some time this week wrapping up the small changes needed for my deliverables and started preparing everything for submission.
This week, I also made the decision to redo my entire microsite. I felt like I had tweaked the previous version so much that I couldn’t keep track of what had been changed, and fixing small issues became a mess. Probably a bit of a crazy move, but it made more sense to start fresh. This time, I took it slow and made sure to leave comments wherever I made changes so I can easily refer back to them later.
Reflection
CID has always been a fun and experimental space for me. It’s where I feel free to try out all the crazy ideas that pop into my head. Even though it’s not always possible to get the computer to do exactly what I want, I’ve really enjoyed how small tweaks can lead to big results.
I’ve learnt a lot of new things throughout this module, and it’s definitely added to my design practice. Now I see how technology can support and enhance my future projects in ways I hadn’t considered before.
This has been a meaningful experience, and it reminded me why I love combining creativity with tech. I’m excited to see what else I can create in the future.
